The Ritz-Carlton Club Level

Back to previous

What differentiates The Ritz-Carlton from other luxury competitors? For many business and leisure travelers the answer is simple — The Club® level accommodations and amenities. Featuring many special services and privileges, The Club experience offers the comfort, convenience and privacy of a hotel within a hotel.

Usually located on the upper floors of the hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Club is not just about luxurious surroundings. The services, including five complimentary food and beverage presentations daily, also provide added value to a stay by solo business travelers or families on vacation. The focal point of The Ritz-Carlton Club is a spacious lounge area, furnished to resemble a comfortable living area and well stocked with books and a variety of international magazines and newspapers. A dedicated concierge is on duty from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. to meet any needs from hard to get restaurant reservations to assistance with changing airline flights. Only guests registered on Club level can access the floor through use of a special elevator key, ensuring a sense of personal security.

The design and layout of The Club varies from location to location. At The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park South, guests can enjoy their breakfast while overlooking the street below where the horse and carriages wait to tour visitors around the city. For business guests needing a quiet meeting space, a portion of The Club has been glassed-in and a conference table added. At Hotel Arts, Barcelona, the ambience of The Club can be appreciated by enjoying the vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows offering exceptional Mediterranean views. In the classic landmark building, The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, guests may take advantage of complimentary transportation to the Financial District.

Accommodations on The Ritz-Carlton Club level include both deluxe rooms and suites. Most offer the finest personal care toiletries, DVD players and in-room fax machines among the upgraded features.

The food and beverage presentations are one of the prime attractions of staying on The Club. Many offer a hot breakfast buffet, all feature an array of typical morning fare of cereal, pastries, and fresh fruit. At lunchtime, small sandwiches and tasty salads are served. Later in the day, afternoon tea is a respite from the day with small sandwiches, scones, and an extensive choice of international tea selections. When the work or play day is over, The Club invites guests for cocktails and pre-dinner snacks. Before retiring for the evening, The Club features cordials and chocolates.

While each hotel differs in the exact services and amenities it offers The Club guests, The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul is typical of the extras provided. Club guests receive small gifts from all regions of Turkey at turndown, including rose soap and cologne from the Isparta region or a jar of orange preserve from Antayla. Upon checkout, the concierge presents a farewell gift of dried fruits, Turkish spices, and olive oil in small decorative bottles as a remembrance of their visit. For guests with early checkouts, The Club offers a Flight Bites Box with fruits, yogurt and pastries.
