HISTORY:
Established in 1983 with the purchase of The Ritz-Carlton, Boston and the rights to the name Ritz-Carlton. The management company has grown from one hotel to 70 hotels worldwide with plans for further expansion in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company is an independently operated division of Marriott International, Bethesda, Md.

SPA DEVELOPMENT
Plans for spas continue at new or existing hotel locations expanding the company's leadership position in the industry. Some spas at The Ritz-Carlton are operated under brands including Six Senses, La Prairie and ESPA.
GOLF
World-class golf is offered at 15 Ritz-Carlton locations. The courses have been designed by the most respected names in golf including Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Fazio, and have hosted many PGA and Senior PGA events.
THE RITZ-CARLTON CLUB
This innovative fractional home ownership concept serves as an alternative to a second home. Current locations include Aspen, Colo.; Bachelor Gulch, Colo.; Jupiter, Fla.; and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Upcoming locations include South Beach in Miami, Fla., San Francisco, CA, and Rose Island, Bahamas.
THE RESIDENCES AT THE RITZ-CARLTON
Luxury residential condominiums are located at many Ritz-Carlton hotels and resorts. Features include marble foyers, walk-in closets, custom kitchen cabinetry and access to the services of The Ritz-Carlton, including twice daily maid service, valet, 24-hour room service, access to extensive fitness and facilities. Free-standing condominium projects are planned for Baltimore, Inner Harbor, Maryland and Quail Valley, Charlotte, North Carolina.
